Short-throw projector screens are suited to projectors with throw ratios of approximately 0.4–1.2:1, typically placed 0.5–2.5 metres from the screen. Short-throw setups are common in living rooms and bedrooms where a long throw distance is not practical, and in education or commercial spaces where ceiling mounting is restricted.
TrueThrow short-throw screens span six fixed-frame surfaces: Matte White (MW) for reference-accurate white-balance in controlled rooms; High-Contrast Grey (HCG) for improved contrast in rooms with modest ambient light; Grey Crystal ALR and Black Crystal ALR for strong ambient light rejection in lit rooms; Lenticular CLR for ceiling-light-dominant environments; and Woven Acoustic (WAT) for behind-screen speaker arrays. All surfaces perform at full specification within the short-throw distance range.
